Materials & site tools

The right material, on the right day.

Building science only works if the materials on site are the ones in the drawings. We specify, buy, check and store them ourselves, then deliver them when each stage is ready.

Timber framing on a building site

Godown to site

Before it reaches your site.

The wrong grade, a wet delivery or a missing material can hold up a whole project. We take care of the supply chain so the right materials reach your building in the right condition.

One team responsible for what we specify, supply and install.

  1. Specified for the job

The right type and grade for your building and Kashmir’s climate. Written into the specification, with no unapproved substitutions.

  2. Bought to the specification

Sourced from established manufacturers and distributors, in the quantities your project actually needs.

  3. Checked on arrival

We check the type, grade, quantity and condition against the agreed specification before accepting a delivery.

  4. Protected in our godown

Boards, insulation, membranes and pipes stay dry and protected until your site is ready for them.

  5. Delivered when the site is ready

Materials arrive for the right stage of work, with one team coordinating supply and installation.

The materials behind the build

Known brands.
Considered specifications.

These are the brands we use across our building systems. The right product, grade and installation detail are selected for your project, then written into the specification.

Insulation

XPS, glass wool and stone wool have different jobs. We select the type, thickness and build-up for the wall, roof or floor being insulated.

Windows & profiles

The frame is one part of the window. Profiles, glazing, seals and installation details are specified together for the opening and its exposure.

Boards & ceilings

Gypsum, fibre cement and calcium silicate are distinct materials. Board type, framing, fixings and joint treatment are specified together for each location.

Floors, coatings & protection

The finish works with the layers beneath it. Flooring, paints, adhesives, grouts and waterproofing are selected for the substrate, moisture exposure and any floor heating.

Heating, cooling & fresh air

Heating, air-conditioning and ventilation are coordinated with the building. Capacity, operating temperatures, routes and controls are checked before equipment is ordered.

The equipment behind the finish

The right tool.
A more careful build.

Good materials need good installation. Our tool range covers preparation, drilling, fixing, mixing and finishing, with equipment from Makita, Bosch Professional, DeWalt, Stanley, and Milwaukee.

Our rule

If it will be covered up, it gets checked first.

Insulation, membranes, pipes and cables disappear behind finishes. Each layer is inspected, and where it matters photographed, before it is closed in.

How we work

The first step

Start with a heat-loss check.

We visit, measure and calculate how your building loses heat, room by room. Then we show you what would change, what it costs and what it saves, before you commit to anything.
